Edisto Island 2015

For the second year, we had a wonderful family vacation on Edisto Island. My parents rented a place right on the beach and my brother and I brought our families to enjoy some time together. I didn't actually take very many pictures this year - I don't have any of Stuart and the boys! And Kaity spent the week at Impact - an event she looks forward to all year long. But I did capture some great memories in digital files and even more in my overtaxed noggin.

Jeff had to work Monday and Tuesday, so we went ahead of him, arriving Monday afternoon. The kids were in the water in less than 30 minutes from our arrival.

Edith Ann ready for the beach!

Joe and his boogie board, inseparable.
Lauryn loved the little froggy chair! She was watching from a distance while Bobba, Selah and Joe played in the water.

Selah, burying Joe in the sand.
Lauryn was exhausted every night. They all played hard.
Me, Lauryn, and my Kindle all snuggled down for the evening.
She was awake, just hiding from the camera.
Mom and I put together a puzzle of Neuschwastein Castle.

These are all views from our deck:
Doo doo doo lookin' out my back door.

The beach is closer than it looks - directly over that sand dune.
