Despite threats of tropical storm Bonnie, Jeff and I loaded up the kids (and Pippin) and made the journey to Edisto Island last week. The beach trip is something the whole family looks forward to every year! Mom and Berk rent a house for a week and we join the party for a few days. This was our third annual trip and we weren't about to let a little rain dampen it!
We put together puzzles ...
We colored pictures ...
Some of us took naps ...
We read magazines and books...
We played with our electronics ...
We enjoyed each others company ...
And of course, we played lots of games, drank coffee and snacked constantly. But the kids were not to be deterred by (relatively) chilly weather and a little rain! They were on the beach as soon as they could be.
